Mellow Ethiopian - Light Roast
The Mellow Ethiopian features incredible peaberry beans from the beautiful town of Yirgacheffe. Bright with well balanced acidity and gorgeous fruit and floral overtones. This redefines the experience of drinking a light roast as it still has excellent body and is well suited for pulling shots as well as other brewing methods.
Breakfast Bliss - Medium Roast
The answer for those who love a mellow medium roast to start the day (or anytime of course ;-) or who find our Mellow Ethiopian a bit bright, or The First Roast a bit bold, this blend of Colombian and Guatemalan roasted to perfection is quite simply put - Not too dark, not too light, just right.
The First Roast - Medium-Dark
The First Roast is our most popular roast by far. It’s a blend of Colombian, Guatemalan, and Ethiopian. It’s “The First” of it’s kind as it combines the big thick syrupy body of a dark roast, the sweetness of a medium roast, and the balanced acidity and unique origin attributes of a light roasted peaberry all in one amazing bag of coffee. Many exuberantly share their opinion that it's the best coffee they've ever had. Really. We hear that at least once a week.
Espresso - Dark Roast
Like our popular First Roast, our Espresso uses Colombian and Guatemalan beans. It pays homage to an age old tradition and love of dark roasts. The low acidity and huge body of a dark roast makes it ideal for pulling gorgeous savory shots. While this roast was developed specifically for use in an espresso machine, it can be enjoyed using any brewing method.

Coffee is the third most heavily sprayed crop in the world. DDT and banned pesticides are often used at origin, so farmers and their families are suffering horrible deformities- including children that are born missing limbs. While it's up to an individual to decide whether or not they wish to consume these chemicals when they drink coffee, there's no excuse for people to continue to support non-organic growing when they've been educated as to the adverse affects it's having on farmers, their communities, and the environment. Join in and help in spreading the word and/or in making the switch to organic coffee!
Fair Trade and Rainforest Alliance Certification
It's perhaps easily as important that coffee be either Fair Trade or Rainforest Alliance Certified. Fair Trade helps to ensure that workers are given fair living wages, and Rainforest Alliance goes even further helping to address not only wages, but also the environment. It's critical to the environment and the quality of the coffee that chemical fertilizers aren't used and lands aren't deforested. Deforestation destroys the habitat, shade, and available nutrients that define the flavor and quality of the coffee harvested.
